Manchester Place Care homes provides a uniquely excellent living environment for seniors. All 4 homes are… custom/purpose built. Their caregivers are CNAs and are full-time employees. The home-like setting makes a much nicer, non-institutional environment for seniors to age in place.Manchester is family owned and operated that takes such care and pride in assuring that their business is run to the highest stands.With the low resident to caregiver ratios and locally based, hands-on owners/management, Manchester is able to offer a level of care that is second to none.I know when I refer clients that they will get excellent care and treated like family. It’s also comforting to know that I will get prompt responses and answers from employee Brian Levy. I moved my 100 year old mother in law to Manchester Place 6 months ago from her own home. She enjoys the company of the… other 7 residents. The small group home is good for her hearing problem. The staff is very patient and attentive with her dementia.read more

My family had a great experience at Manchester Place with not 1, but 2 of my grandmothers. Both my mom’s mother and… father’s mother lived in different Manchester Place homes. The personalized care they received is unparalleled to any other facility we tried before we were able to get them in to Manchester Place. In fact, my mother still keeps in touch with many of the staff there as the family developed strong bonds with the exceptional people taking care of our loved ones. There were many activities, family events, & holiday celebrations. The staff always made sure the residents were in the best of spirits. Management is fantastic at Manchester. I personally visited my grandmothers on many occasions, often weekly. I noticed the ownership is engaged and cares about its residents. I also noticed management is always teaching their employees and making them better caretakers for the residents. This always let me know my grandmothers were in the right place. The homes are beautiful and updated with amenities to accommodate the elderly. I know I would be very lucky myself to live in a Manchester Place home when the time comes.read more

Manchester Place took exceptional care of my Mother for over 6 years until her passing. They are all caring, loving… and very dedicated to their mission. Also, they serve nutritious, delicious meals prepared fresh daily. I am so thankful to have found them and for my Mother to have been taken care of by such a compassionate group of fine people whom I now consider as part of my extended family.read more

My grandmother lived at Manchester Place for more than four years. During that time, I always felt that she was safe… and secure, and that she felt at home. She was cared for with loving attention by skilled and knowledgeable caregivers who ultimately became like family to all of us. Caring for an elderly person is customized depending on their needs and challenging depending on their temperament. Manchester surpassed our expectations across the boards! Just when I thought businesses had forgotten what customer service is I was blessed to find it still exists in Cambridge. Brian and Jincy are on point always. They go Above and Beyond each time I contact them. It is always an emergency when I contact them typically a weekend and late in the day and they ALWAYS answer the phone! Truly unheard of these days. They are able to perform the impossible and get the care we need right away. All of the care giving staff are professional trained individuals that dearly love what they do. I would never do business with anyone else this is a one stop shopping! Do not even google to find a comparison because there is none. LOVE LOVE LOVE them!

We had less than 3 minutes warning when we heard, “If you live in Rowlett, take shelter immediately!”. We looked out the window and watched the devastating EF-4 tornado go over the 190 bridge… headed straight for our street. In that moment, you remember whats really important…family. Im deeply thankful to have an incredible family I call My Manchester Family. They were there for me in the aftermath of the tornado. Thats what they do….help families. They had a vision: 1) To build residential care homes designed to make people feel at home, just like they would for their own family members. 2) To treat each person entering that home with compassion, dignity and outstanding personal care. How do I know? Im there every week, engaging with the residents — reminiscing, laughing, singing, dancing, playing the flute and listening to each residents story. At Manchester Queens Ferry, one of the residents calls our time together, Happy Hour. One of our happiest hours was when a resident, I was told hadnt been able to speak, smiled and began to sing. Im deeply grateful to spend my days with such amazing people. Not only are the residents family, so are the owners and staff. Dean, Adam, Dr. Newcomer, Erin and Emmy are dedicated, hardworking professionals who go above and beyond to treat your loved ones as if they were their own. The House Managers and caregivers are the most dedicated Ive ever met. The love and care they give is truly heartfelt. Yesterday, one of them said to me, I treat each person as if they were my own mother or father. Family…..thats what Manchester Place is all about.

The care and attention that you offer our mother is truly outstanding and goes above and beyond all of our expectations. For the first time in years we feel that she is safe, secure and being looked after in a compassionate and caring manner.

My mother spent the last five years of her life in the Manchester House on St. Michaels. As change is a bit difficult for older people, she had a bit of reluctance at first. She overcame it almost immediately. The surroundings were warm and cozy, the setting was inviting, and the staff was wonderfully friendly and accommodating. This latter was especially important, as my Mom could be a touch demanding. I was completely satisfied. I have actually recommended Manchester Place to several people, and some of my referrals are currently residents. This is THE place for Mom (or Dad).
